The St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, one of the world's top ten symphonic ensembles, will be performing under the baton of Chief Conductor Nikolay Alexeev. The concert, featuring award-winning pianist Daniel Kharitonov, will showcase Shostakovich's Symphony No. 7 in C Major "Leningrad" and Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 1. This grand performance at the Shanghai Oriental Art Center promises to deliver the pure, powerful sound of "Russian music" with a rich, emotional atmosphere.

The St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, with over 140 years of history, is one of the most revered orchestras in Russia and the world. Under the direction of Nikolay Alexeev, the orchestra will perform Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 1 to start the evening, followed by the emotional Symphony No. 7 by Shostakovich.
